Learn American Sign Language! The Town of Windermere, in partnership with Council Member Mandy David, is offering American Sign Language (ASL) classes for adults and teens. Each course runs for 7 to 8 weeks, is completely free, and is open to the public. Because each lesson builds on the previous one, participants are encouraged to commit to attending every class. Classes take place on Fridays from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Community Conference Room inside the Town of Windermere Administrative and Police Complex: 614 Main Street, Windermere, FL 34786 (Building 100). Class Schedule: ASL 1 – Beginners: Learn the fundamentals of ASL from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. ASL 2 – Intermediate: Expand upon the skills learned in ASL 1 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
