Commission Membership Information The Development Commission consists of seven members and three auxiliary members. The auxiliary members are appointed to make sure quorum is met in the case of absentee members. All members are appointed by the Village President and confirmed by the Board of Trustees. One member is named by the Village President as the Chairperson and one as Co-chairperson. Regular members serve a three-year term and auxiliary members serve one-year terms. The Cultural Inclusion and Diversity Committee fosters and promotes understanding, mutual respect, cooperation, and positive relations between and among all residents of the Village by creating a sense of shared community among residents and affirming the value of each resident.
