Clean Up Day!

The weather is getting nice and it's a perfect time to plan for our annual Clean-Up Day on Saturday, May 16, 2026. Dumpsters will be available from 9am - noon at the Stone Park Sports and Entertainment Complex near the pavilion. You can enter the grounds at 37th and Soffel Avenue. This is only for Stone Park residents, so a Government ID is required. We are also collecting used books, American flags and old/expired prescriptions. Few things to remember: -Household paint can now be disposed of for free by taking it to PPG at 3500 W North Avenue. - Hazardous materials are not accepted including solvents and cleaners. The Illinois EPA has strict rules on how to dispose of those. Visit their website for more information. - Have a tv you don't need? The Illinois EPA require us to properly track and dispose of tvs and other electronics. Please visit the Village Hall to pay for your tv sticker. Stickers are $5 or $10 - depending on size of tv. - Need help with large items on May 16th? Call Public Works and schedule a time for Public Works to pick up the items from your house. All items must be brought to the parkway as our employees cannot enter your home or private property. Have questions? Call the Village Hall at 708-345-5550.
