Where do these events come from?

Events are collected from official municipal calendars, park district schedules, library programs, and community organization websites. We aggregate them into a single calendar so you can see everything happening in one place.

How far in advance are events listed?

Most events appear as soon as the organizing body publishes them, which can range from a few days to several months in advance. Recurring events like farmers markets or library programs are typically posted at the start of each season.

Can I submit an event to be listed?

Currently, events are pulled automatically from official municipal sources. Community-submitted events are not yet supported, but we are working on adding that feature.

Spring Brush Pick-Up •     Staging: No earlier than Saturday, May 23, 2026 •     Placement Deadline: All brush must be placed by 7:00 a.m. on June 1 •     Start Date: Monday, June 1, 2026 at 7:00 a.m. Brush Requirements: •    Minimum 6 ft length, maximum 6 in diameter •    Cut ends facing the road •    Stack in neat, manageable piles (avoid one large pile) •    Separate evergreen branches Additional Notes: •    For trimmed branches or storm debris only (no whole trees) •    Material that cannot be safely chipped will not be collected •    Resident collection is allotted twenty (20) minutes max.
