Fire Safety Fair

The North Royalton Fire Department's annual Safety Fair features fun, educational activities and safety information for the whole family. Residents have the opportunity to explore safety apparatuses and visit with their local safety forces.

Memorial Day Ceremony

Join us on Memorial Day, May 25, as we start the holiday by paying tribute to the military members who have sacrificed their lives in service to our country. Strongsville's VFW Post 3345 will lead our remembrance ceremony at 9 a.m. at the North Royalton Cemetery. In addition to a few keynote addresses, there is a wreath ceremony, and the tribute "Taps" is typically performed by bugle and "Amazing Grace" is performed by bagpipe. The North Royalton Police Department Honor Guard conducts a 21-gun salute to close out the ceremony.

George Modock Jr. Memorial Fishing Derby

This fishing derby commemorates the memory of George Modock Jr., an avid fisherman and family man who enjoyed sharing this hobby with his children. His family keeps his legacy alive by hosting this event with the City as a way to bring North Royalton families together to create lasting memories. Registration begins at 9 a.m. Kids will fish from 10 a.m. to noon, competing in three age groups -- 7-9, 10-12, and 13-15. Trophies are provided by the City of North Royalton and gift cards are provided by the Modock Family. Hotdogs and popcorn will be served after noon, as well as cookies provided by the Modock Family.

Community Car Show

The City is once again organizing our 6th Annual Community Car Show, planned from 4-7 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 12, at Memorial Park, 14600 State Road. There will be food trucks and live music. Shred Day

We ask that residents remain in their vehicles, and have shred materials ready to go in their open trunk.  Shred materials will be limited to five standard-size boxes or paper bags.  Please, no plastic bags or containers that must be returned to the vehicle as this slows the line. As a reminder, residents must bring proper identification, such as a Driver's License, to verify residency. ACCEPTED ITEMS:  financial documents, bank statements, tax returns, credit card statements, expired credit cards, insurance forms and records, junk mail, family records and confidential information. Staples and small paper clips are OK. NOT ACCEPTED:  newspapers, phone books, magazines, binders, books, pendaflex folders, food and candy wrappers, wax paper, photographs, napkins and Styrofoam containers.

Halloween Madness

5K Bear Run

Holiday Lighting Ceremony

Help us kick off the holiday season right at the annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony. Complimentary hot chocolate and pastry are served on the City Green beginning at 4 p.m. At 5 p.m. a brief parade, which includes the North Royalton Marching Band Drumline and Band Front, will step off from the Senior Center at Royal View, 13220 Ridge Road, and make its way to the City Green, where the Mayor and Santa will hit the switch to light up the City Green decorations! Then, Santa will take visitors at his house on the Green, where he listens to children's wish lists and provides each with a chocolate bar and toy! Details coming soon!

Wreaths Across America Ceremony

At noon, a wreath will be reverently placed at the resting place of over 400 veterans in our City Cemetery. The public is invited to attend but also participate by sponsoring a wreath.
